Our mission is to provide a compassionate environment for each child entrusted to our care and to inspire hope and healing that empowers individuals to achieve their highest level of emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

 

OUR MODEL & PHILOSOPHY

Our Houze RTC is a newly organized Residential Treatment Center.

We will treat boys ages 10-17.

At Our Houze we strive to create a safe environment of teamwork and participation where staff and children work together and take pride in their work.

We believe that positive connections between staff and children are the key to success in therapeutic care.

 

TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE

Our Houze RTC is designed to meet the treatment, educational, and health needs of children with a history of trauma and emotional or mental problems.

We use Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) to address the complex needs of children who have experienced adversity, caregivers, teachers, and other trauma.

TBRI® provides practical tools for parents, caregivers, teachers, and professionals to better meet the needs of children through building trust and healthy relationships.

Training focuses on understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), Secondary Traumatic Stress, Compassion Fatigue.
